Yield Stability of Different Elite Wheat Lines under Drought and Irrigated Environments using AMMI and GGE Biplots

Wheat is the principal winter crop in Nepal. Drought affects 44% of lands total wheat area country with a yield loss 15–20%. This research focuses to minimize this through identification high-yielding lines stable across drought stress and irrigated environments. The experiment was conducted Alpha Lattice Design 20 genotypes replicated twice five blocks per replication from November 2019 April 2020. findings showed that genotypes, environments, genotype-environment interaction have highly significant effect on grain explained 28.95%, 52.57%, 18.47% variation yield, respectively. which-won-where model revealed elite line NL 1420 most responsive environment, followed by BL 4407, while 1179 environment. mean vs stability component 1 2 explaining 65.76% 34.24% respectively, 1420, 4919, Bhrikuti are both high yielding 1179, Gautam, 1384 less test Similarly, ranking indicated close ideal as representative for genotype evaluation. Thus, recommended specifically adapted further evaluation stability.
